Equity Bank will tomorrow, Friday 4th January 2019, award the Wings to Fly Scholarships to successful 2018 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, candidates. The lucky students will receive their Secondary Scholarships, ahead of form one reporting date on Monday 7th January, 2019.

The Wings To Fly scholarship includes: financial support in the form of tuition fees, books, accommodation, uniform, shopping, pocket money and transport to and from school.

Today, 3rd January 2019, 13 Wings to Fly scholars who scored straight As in the 2018 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, exams were hosted to a celebratory breakfast by the Equity Group Foundation Executive Chairman, Dr. James Mwangi.
The 13 scholars are among the 315 students who scored A’s in the 2018 national examinations. This is an increase from last year’s nine Wings to Fly students who scored As.

The MasterCard Foundation and Equity Group Foundation will be awarding 1,000 scholarships to the 2019 Wings to Fly Scholarships beneficiaries. This will be the 10th Wings To Fly scholars Commissioning ceremony and will be held tomorrow Friday, 4th January 2019 at Kenyatta University, Thika Road, from 9:30 a.m. The event will be aired live on
Citizen TV and K24 from 9:30 am. You can also stream the event live on Equity’s Facebook page or website at https://t.co/rXtAZ5BdBM

he program targets high achieving yet needy (orphan or vulnerable) students identified by assessing two main criteria based on academic performance at KCPE and social-economic vulnerability as follows:
