BSc Nursing
The philosophy of the BSc Nursing programme is to produce high quality and compete nurses who are transformational and innovative leaders in the nursing practice and are pace setters in nursing education and research both locally and globally
Bachelor of Science in Midwifery
The program that prepares students to become licensed midwives who can provide care and support to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) -Upgrading Programme
This programme is designed for nurses who want to further their education in nursing.The programme builds on the foundational knowledge and skills acquired in the diploma or certificate programme and covers advanced topics such as leadership, management, research, and community health nursing.
The School through its departments offer tailored undergraduate programmes designed to meet emerging and ever-rising demands of technology professionals. All our programmes are approved by the Commission of the University Education (CUE) and are regularly reviewed and updated to meet the dynamism of the technology world. The School endeavors to provide quality training in nursing sciences in order to produce compete graduate nurses.
Admissions
Admission for postgraduate degree programmes is done throughout the year for January, May and September intakes. Application is done online through the Online Application System: https://admission.must.ac.ke/
Admission Criteria
To be admitted to the Bachelors Programmes, the applicant needs to meet at least the following requirements;
- KCSE mean grade C+ or equivalent as approved by the KNQA
- Diploma of Meru University of Science and Technology or other recognized institutions and an aggregate of C in KCSE or its equivalent
